The Cortland Endurance fly fishing outfit is designed to meet the needs of just about every fly fishing application. The Endurance Outfit includes a 4 piece rod, engineered around a special 3 layer HM 45 graphite construction with an ultra-thin graphite outer layer for strength and durability. The finish is a unique translucent olive flake matched to tan wraps with silver trim. Most fly rod models carry woven fiber reel seats. Actions are fast, yet easily translate how the rod is loading to the fisherman. Endurance Series Fly Reel features large arbor quick connect spools matched to an enclosed impregnated cork drag system, which is fully adjustable through a polyurethane knob that provides a positive grip even when fingers are cold, wet or gloved. If necessary, additional drag can be applied via the reel's exposed rim design. The drag is engineered to be audible as line goes out and silent as line is reeled in.
