The GS Series 4 piece blank - is available in 4,5 or 6 weight and is built to Greys specifications, right to the shape of the handle, Greys designed it all. The GS rod actions are tested and ‘tweeked' until Greys developers are 100% happy with them, then the blanks are tested to destruction on the test rig.
Each model then undergoes extensive testing ‘on the water' by consultants across the globe. Only after Greys is happy with the results of all of this development and testing are the rods offered to you the customer.
Check the specifications, you will love the finish, and the action of the 4 piece blanks, and you will realize that the only thing ‘entry level' about a GS rod is it's price.

The GX500 reel features a new system of friction fit identification pins that allows you to clearly mark the spool with line size, density, sink profile and core type, allowing you to select the correct line at a glance.
