 It was a bold move to replace the original Angel Fly Reel with an updated version. The Angel has been one of our best-selling reels, but we knew it could be improved.
Improvements to the internal and external construction of the Angel 2 fly reel bring real benefits when fishing. Redesigning the clutch housing means a toolless left/right conversion takes only seconds instead of minutes. The concealed check system improves the already trusted and dependable Rulon drag. A new all metal handle with a reverse screw fitting increases strength and durability. A brilliant reel made better. The two Angel Featherweights are designed for smaller, lighter rods with the most sensitive of click checks to protect the lightest of tippets.

Length Conversion: 1 meter is equal to 39.37 inches
The difference between the stanard Angel reel and the Angel TE Reel is that the TE Reel has red anodised parts and red artwork to match the Angel TE fly rod. The Angel TE reel, although not a limited edition, is manufactured in much smaller qualities, at a higher cost, therefore the cost of the TE is higher than the standard Angel reel.
