Super Braid (Spectron, Micronite)- super low stretch (3-4%), lowest diameter per pound test, high abrasion resistance. Low stretch means increased sensitivity and hook setting power. Dacron (Micron, Musky Master, Green Spot)- minimum stretch (12-20%) - excellent abrasion resistance- ideal trolling line, easily spliced, superior knot strength, lends itself to many special uses including fly lines core and backing.
